MELVILLE HAS MORE DESIGNS ON HIGHLANDER…
Jonathan Melville, whose previous works includes reference books for Tremors, Local Hero, Hamish Macbeth and – of course – A Kind of Magic: The Making of Highlander, will be returning to chronicle further detail about the Immortal Scottish warrior in Titan Books’ upcoming The Art and the Making of Highlander, another one of the tomes celebrating Highlander‘s fortieth anniversary.
Published on 1st September, the book comes shrink wrapped and decorated with spot UV gloss on the cover for a special shine and also features further interviews with cast and the creatives behind the movie. The book runs to an impressive 192 pages and will retail for $50 in the US.
Jonathan noted in his recent substack entry that the book expands on some of the elements he uncovered for his previous book.
“While this book tells the same basic story as A Kind of Magic, it also goes places the first one didn’t and approaches some aspects from a different angle. I’ve discovered things even I didn’t know until just a few months ago, and I can guarantee even the biggest Highlander fans will come away with new facts and insights that have never been published before…”
The book will be available through all major UK and US book outlets and can also be pre-ordered through Amazon at:
