Highlander WorldWide are proud to announce that F. Braun McAsh will be joining us for Watchercon.
Known as Braun to his friends, as ‘Run, quickly, lest we perish!!!‘ to his enemies and simply ‘F’ to the late director Denis Berry, our friend and guest was Highlander: The Series‘ Swordmaster for Season Three through Season Six and for the Highlander: Endgame feature film.
He has been a professional actor and fight choreographer since 1976. His credits include almost 60 Shakespeare plays as an actor/choreographer (including four years at the Stratford Festival) plus the Canadian Opera Company, the National Ballet, the Shaw Festival and many others, as well as several dozen TV series and feature films including Bordertown, P T Barnum and MythQuest. He also reprised his on-screen Highlander role of Hans Kershner in the acclaimed fan-film project Highlander: Dark Places.
An expert not only in the use of the blade but in the history of such weapons, Braun is also a published writer and author and a theatrical and historical bladed weapons instructor – able to explain not only how to use a weapon but its suitability to different time-periods and settings.
Braun has joined us several times before and, as an expert raconteur, always has a tale to tell about his experiences in the industry and the art of war and peace…
